The Renaissance Chicago Hotel Lobby

During that period Migrations, Inc. has acted as project manager on a wide variety of projects. In 2006, the hotel went through a renovation of the lobby, fitness center, guestroom corridors and meeting rooms. As interior designer, The Getty’s Group, Inc. gave a new look to the lobby, corridors and meeting rooms through the selection of finishes and furnishings. The fitness center was doubled in size and expanded in scope to become a rejuvenation center. In 2007, The Getty’s Group was asked to improve the level of finish for the guestroom bathrooms. The renovation of all 553 bathrooms was completed by James McHugh Construction Company in 13 weeks. In 2008, the hotel and owners engaged in the evaluation of the hotel restaurant and bar to position the venues as destination dining and entertainment.  Bar Novo opened in September of 2009 and a new restaurant concept and design will be unveiled in 2010.
